Team Fundraiser
We have the opportunity to earn money for our team! All we have to do is sell raffle tickets. This money helps keep this a low cost sport. Raffle tickets will be handed out at the team meeting on Monday, November 6, 2023. Additional details will be provided at that time.
60% of ticket sales will come back to the team to offset the cost of bait, food and miscellaneous items needed for the team at tournaments throughout the year. Each tournament we enter runs the club about $400 depending on how many students sign up.
The other 40% goes to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association (WIFA). They use the money to host the state tournament. The money covers event space rental, stage, tables and chair rentals, trophies and the team dinner the night before the tournament.
Tickets are due back to Coach Klamik by Saturday, January 6, 2024.
We Need Your Help!
We are looking for 3 parents to help assist with registering fish during the tournaments. FishDonkey is the app that is used to track tournament results. It is very easy to use. You take a picture of the fish on the measuring board, take a picture of the kid holding their catch, enter the length and species and upload. You do not need to know anything about fishing to do this. We have included this FishDonkey Cheat Sheet for you as well. Please be sure to view this slideshow as it is a requirement to measure fish. You will have to confirm at the end of the slideshow that you have completed the training.
